About Us

Hi, my name is Emily Britt (@missemilybritt) and I am proud to be the owner and founder of SLVR Lining. Born in Tacoma, Washington I was raised with a great appreciation for our beautiful planet and in recent years have developed a passion for protecting it. 

Throughout college I sold secondhand clothing online. This experience opened my eyes to the amount of unnecessary textile waste caused by overproduced, cheaply made, fast fashion. I quickly realized that these damaged and unwanted textiles could be reworked and made new thus giving them new life while helping reduce textile waste and pollution at the same time. That's when I decided to create SLVR Lining.
